Lois Iona Jordan

BOLIVAR - Lois Iona Jordan, 95, of Daggett Hollow Road, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Cuba Memorial Hospital.

Born November 22, 1930, in Cuba, New York, she was the daughter of Charles Frost and Kathryn Lewis Frost. On August 4, 1948, at Haskell Community Church, she married her husband, James "Jim" Jordan, who predeceased her.

Lois was employed at Portville Central School for over 40 years. She was a member of West Clarksville Baptist Church, and she and her husband loved riding motorcycles together as members of the Christian Motorcycle Association. She also belonged to the Little Genesee Quilting Club and never missed a New York Yankees game.

Lois loved to bake for family and friends. For many years, she and Jim enjoyed time at Cuba Lake and Rushford Lake with family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed sitting on the dock fishing with her husband, Jim.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Mark) Linderoth of Spencerport and Janet (Steven) Bell of Portville; her son-in-law, Michael Henneman of Spencerport; a niece, Janice Jordan-Kidd of Shinglehouse, PA; several nieces/nephews, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughters, Sandra Jordan and Nancy (Jordan) Henneman (October 2025).

A private family burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home and Memorial Service Inc., Cuba, New York.
