I first met Guy on his marriage day to my cousin Donna in 1977. I knew him from that day until his recent passing.

Through the years (before I retired) I would see him at various family vacations, Thanksgiving holidays, weddings and funerals. After I retired, I saw much more of him in Florida.

I got to know him much better and found him to be a very likable, friendly, humorous and talkative person. Besides loving cigars, he also loved to tell stories of his youth.

One story stands out in particular - that being how he was the "critter guy" as a youth in the farming community he grew up in near Syracuse. He would explain how he would catch unwanted animals for the local farmers. He was very proud of being known as the "critter guy".

So, when I think of Guy I will remember him as a kind, good hearted, good souled person who will always be the "critter Guy".
