Husband, Father, Son, and Brother

Brandon Scott Dearborn, 38, of Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at ECMC after a short illness.

Born on August 2, 1987, in Wellsville, he was a son of Frederick Dearborn and Darlene Firkel. On April 4, 2018, in Bolivar, he married the former Ashely M. Blum who survives.

A 2005 graduate of Bolivar Central School, Brandon served in the United States Marine Corps from 2005 to 2007. His military honors included the National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Mast, Rifle Expert Badge, and Good Conduct Medal. He later worked for Dresser-Rand in Olean as a shipping clerk.

Brandon’s life was defined by service; he was a member of the Port Area Ambulance Service, Port Allegany Fire Department ,where he was a member of the swift water rescue team and Ridgeway Ambulance Medic 3. He was also an aspiring firefighter, currently enrolled in training classes.

In his free time, Brandon loved working on his Trans Am, spending time with his friend Todd, “Tea Time” with his friend Jon, and had a passion for tattoos and piercings that added to his personal style.

He is survived by his father Frederick (Vicki) Dearborn of Richburg; his mother Darlene Dearborn of Bolivar, his wife, Ashley, three children Elliott Cashimere, Jerricho Dearborn and Daneliya Dearborn, all at home; three brothers Shaun Firkel of Bolivar, Frederick Dearborn and Danny (Misty) Dearborn both of Missouri; his mother-in-law Sherry (George) Trummer of Franklinville; His step siblings; Sonya (Kevin) Ford of Tennessee, Rhonda Doxey of Scio; Tammy (Johnny) Spencer of Florida; Lisa (Paul) Price of Florida, and Ronald (Lindsey) Stonemetz Jr. of Portville; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 554 S. Main Street, Bolivar on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 2-6 P.M. with military honors beginning at 6 P.M. in the funeral home.
