Yvonne M. Botens, 48, of 8483 State Rte. 305 Black Creek, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo after a brief illness.

Born on January 29, 1966, Clinton, Massachusetts she was a daughter of John Kaiser and Jeanette Bond Kaiser. On August 17, 1991, in Cuba, New York she married Andrew Botens who survives.

Yvonne was a graduate of Scio Central School.

She had worked as a dental assistant for Nick Bunk in Cuba and in the Cafeteria at Cuba-Rushford Central School. She also worked for the Black Creek Post Office. While in Alaska she worked as a bank teller and later went to work at Five Star Bank in Cuba where she was currently the head teller.

Mrs. Botens was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Jamie Botens of Olean, and Jackie Botens of Black Creek, NY; a step daughter, Cristy Botens of Philadelphia, PA; her grand daughter, Skylyn Spencer; her father and stepmother, John (Linda) Kaiser of Portville; her mother, Jeanette (Ed Dibert) Kaiser of Scio; her maternal grandmother, Viola Bona of Fernwood, NY; her father-in-law, Richard Botens of Black Creek; three brothers, Richard (Heather) Kaiser of Fayetteville, NC, Shane (Elisa) Kaiser of Tuscon, AZ, and Jason Kaiser of Cuba; a step brother, Brain (Anne) Kennedy of Elmira Heights, NY; one sister, Christine (Joe) Kazense of North Pole, Alaska; two step sisters, Molly (Scott) Marsh of Great Valley, and Marty (Steve) Chenetz of Portville; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street Cuba, on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. The Rev. Leslie E. Chambers, pastor of the West Clarksville Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
