Wilbert “Pete” Atherton Ingalls
1932-2015
Cuba, NY - Wilbert "Pete" Atherton Ingalls, of 28 Spring Street, died peacefully June 6, 2015. He was born on March 27 , 1932. in Cuba, son of the late Guy N. and Beulah Royce Ingalls. On June 30 , 1956 , he married Gail Botens who survives.

Wilbert's interests were his family, golf, bingo, cards, and spending time with his wife of almost 59 years. Wilbert was proud of his 3 years of service in the US Army as a paratrooper and his long, dedicated career driving a tractor trailer.

Surviving are his children, Eric (Tina) Ingalls of Cuba, Dennis (Grete) Ingalls of Philadelphia, Pa, Susan (Steve) Tracy of Aberdeen, NC, and Chris (Jennifer) Ingalls of Las Cruces, NM.; 15 grandchildren, Brett, Allison (Fabien), Amber, Derek (Abbey), Adriane (Jon), Paola, Catherine, Kristina (Ken), Michael, Bryan (Beth), Casey, Alycia, Amanda (Ian), Abby (Josh), and Jackie; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Ellen Ingalls of Colonial Beach, VA; brother-in-law Jay Botens of North Tonawanda, NY and Donald Wayne (Rosie) Botens of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his six siblings.

Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc. 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 5-9 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. The Rev. Larry A. Poelma, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officate.

Burial will be in Belleville Cemetery, Town of New Hudson, New York.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Program, 140 West Main Street, Cuba, NY 14727.
