Vicky M. Adams, 65, of 5120 Miller Hill Rd., Ischua, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, September 1, 2022 at home.
Born on December 3, 1956, in Olean, she was a daughter of Glenn Dutton and Millie Snyder. On September 26, 1987, in Cuba, she married Tom L. Adams who survives.
Vicky was a graduate of Duarte High School in Duarte, California. She had worked for Cuba Cheese, Cuba Hospital in the purchasing department, and was last employed by CROSSTEX in Cuba and had just recently retired.
She was a member of the Cuba American Legion Post 655 Auxiliary, Cuba VFW Auxiliary, and the Shawn M. Clemens Memorial AmVets Post 1 Auxiliary. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Tom, she is survived by her mother, Mildred Snyder Johnson of Mississippi; 3 daughters, Paula (Fran) Edwards, Vanessa (fiancÚ Brian Bowen) Clement and Natalie (Chris) Perkins all of Cuba; her grandchildren, Shawnna, Dawson, Alyssa, Andrew, Austin, Hunter and Brayden; a great grandson, Knox;
4 brothers, Roger Dutton of California, Rodney Dutton of Mississippi, Troy (Lisa) Dutton of Cuba and Randy (Natalie) Snyder of Cuba; 2 sisters, Tammy (Robert) Gleason of Belmont and Lisa (Brian) Sortore of Friendship; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father Glenn, she was predeceased by a sister Theresa Rhodes.
The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. only.
