Timothy A. Cantrell, 46, of 4 Chestnut Street, Belfast passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 after a brief but unexpected illness.
Born on April 13, 1970, in New Castle, Indiana, he was a son of James Cantrell and Diana Shelley. On February 4, 2003 in Friendship, NY he married the former Melinda S. Giles who survives.

| Tim had worked for Tops Markets in Olean prior to his illness.
He had a passion for music. He loved playing the drums and guitar. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are his children, Corey (Donna Geraghty) Haurande of Florida, Dustin Cantrell of Indiana, Areq Lanning at home, Brach Lanning at home, Melissa Cantrell of Indiana, Mercedes Cantrell of Indiana,
Roseanna Lanning at home, Halie Cantrell at home, Destiny Cantrell at home, three grandchildren; three brothers, Keith Cantrell of Indiana, Paul (Lynette) Cantrell of Tennessee, and David Cantrell of Tennessee; three sisters,
Lisa (Denny) Oakes of Indiana, Teresa (Ralph) Leduc of Kentucky, and Janie Stockton of Tennessee; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother Bill Cantrell.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Kirk Kirch, pastor of the United Church of Friendship, will officiate.
