Terry P. Sherwood, 67 of 7295 Rawson Rd, Cuba, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on January 15, 1948, in Cuba Memorial Hospital he was a son of Clifford F. and Madeline T. Colvin Sherwood. In 1970, he married the former Rebecca Anne Burton who survives.

| Terry grew up in Cuba. He then graduated from the Erie Technology Memorial High School in Erie, PA. After high school he began working for Dresser Rand in Olean as a welder for 41 years retiring in 2010.
He enjoyed buying and selling different things, auctions, and hobby farming.
Terry is survived by his spouse Rebecca of Cuba, and his daughter Elizabeth Ann Sherwood also of Cuba; a brother Garry (Kathy) Sherwood of Virginia; an aunt Caroline Lunn of PA; an uncle Jim Sherwood of Turtlepoint, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Carl Holmes, pastor of the Rawson Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Rawson Cemetery, Town of Lyndon, New York.
