Born on July 22, 1960, in Olean, she was a daughter of Robert and Gene (Colter) Doane. On December 2, 1978, in San Antonio, Texas, she married Donald “Andy” Saunders who predeceased her on December 31, 2021.

Susan was a graduate of Bolivar Central School Class. She was a proud Bulldog.

She was a loving wife and mother to her children, dedicated to making their lives better however she could. She loved and adored her grandchildren. She always kept busy making wooden décor crafts.

She is survived by 4 sons, Andy Saunders II of Wellsville, Justin (Heather) Saunders of Bolivar, Robert Saunders of Bolivar and Matthew (Nicole) Saunders of Wellsville; her grandchildren, Drew (Briana) Saunders, Danika Saunders, Kendra Saunders, Quinlyn Saunders, Braden Lewis, Owen Lewis, and Abagayle Dickerson; 2 great grandchildren, Ryker Saunders and Nyla Sue Lewis; a brother, Jeff (Dawn) Doane of Richburg; a sister, Linda (Jim) Day of Bolivar; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers Jack Doane and Gary Doane and a sister Judy Torrey.

There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life Service will be held later this Spring.
