Shirley A Sisson Weatherly

Shirley A Sisson Weatherly, 80, passed into Glory Tuesday (October 19) at Buffalo General Medical Center.

Shirley was born May 27, 1941 in Bradford, PA and is the daughter of the late Lillian (Wagner) Schick and Raymond Wagner. She was blessed to have two loving marriages. On July 27, 1961 she married, Robert A Sisson, who passed away February 19, 1988. Then on December 10, 1995 she married Donald K Weatherly, who passed away January 25, 2002.

She graduated from Cuba High School Class of 1959.

For most of her life, Shirley lived in the Cuba area, except for a few years in Florida.

Shirley was a home healthcare aide and Direct Support Professional for the handicap all of her working career.

Her greatest joy was to attend as many activities of her family as she was able. Just before her illness she was able to attend 3 graduations (Texas, Florida and North Carolina) in one trip! Shirley was very devoted to the Cuba Grange 799, Eldred Koinania, and to transporting her friends of the Amish community. If you knew Shirley, you knew that she was willing to help in any way and at any time.

Bob and Shirley had five children, Sheryl Wagner of Mt. Morris, Debra (Allen) Backer of Allegany, NY, Carolyn (Mike) Donahey of Olean, NY, Betty (Tony) Ghourley of Houston, TX and Jason (Chris) Sisson of Olean, NY; she has 50 grand-great grand and great-great-grandchildren and Numerous others also call her Grandma. A Sister Luann (Dave) Homuth of Cuba. She also has many nieces and nephews whom she loved greatly.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother George (Arlene) Wagner.

Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5-7 P.M. only. Funeral Services will he held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at North Park Wesleyan Church, 13 N. Park Street, Cuba, NY with the Rev. Jonathan D. Ward officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Friendship, NY 14739.
