Sherie L. Guild, 57, of Mohegan Lake, and formerly of Cuba, New York passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Hudson Valley Hospital, Cortlandt, NY.
Born on February 1, 1957, Cuba, NY she was a daughter of Samuel H. and Joanne Rose Guild.

| Sherie attended Cuba Central School and took classes in the Special Education Department at BOCES. She lived in Opengate's Group Home, The Marcy House, where she had several special friends, Deidra, Tracy, Caren, Anna, and Mary, that were like family to her. Sherie worked in the Day Program as a helper at Opengate.
She is survived by her parents Samuel and Joanne Guild of Cuba; a brother, Gerald (Kimberly) Guild of Allegany; her nieces, Meghan Guild, Paige Missel, and Alec Missel;
and several aunts uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home& Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Monday February 24, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. John M. Woodring will officiate.
Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, NY.
