Born on April 1, 1960, in Wellsville, she was a daughter of Lawrence Hanks and Cecelia Stives.

Sandra had been employed by Heritage Cutlery in Bolivar Prior to her retirement.

She had belonged to the North Park Wesleyan Church where she volunteered in the nursery. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Joshua (Karen) Shedrick of Cuba, Melissa Shedrick of Cuba and Nichole Stives of Silver Springs; her grandchildren, Isabelle Waters, Beckham Shedrick, Jaxson Shedrick, Peyton Chapman, Hazel Chapman, Quinn Shedrick, Archer Smith, Parker Chapman, and Micah Shedrick; a brother, Gary Hanks of East Aurora; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her best friend Cory Burdick of Bolivar.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Brian Stives, her husband Ray Shedrick, and a brother Scott Stives.

The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 554 South Main Street, Bolivar on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. David Herne will officiate.
