RoseAnn Botens
Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
RoseAnn Botens, 82, of 30 South Street, Cuba, passed away Friday, November 02, 2018 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born on October 12, 1936, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Orson and Elma Miller Schryver. On June 20, 1959, in the First Baptist Church of Cuba, she married Donald Wayne Botens who survives.

RoseAnn was a graduate of Cuba Central School Class of 1954 and later graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelors Degree in Education.

She was a loving wife and homemaker raising her children and then went to work for Cuba Cheese working in production prior to her retirement.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba and a former member of the Tuesday night Women's Bowling League.

RoseAnn enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a sports enthusiast with some of her favorite teams being the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and St. Bonaventure Basketball teams.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne of Cuba; her children, Robert O. (Christy) Botens of Dallas, Tx, Debra E. Enderle and Philip W. (Lisa Taylor) Botens both of Cuba; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Schryver of Friendship; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons Ronald Botens and Donald Botens both whom died in infancy; and a brother Loren Schryver.

The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc, 9 Bull St. Cuba, on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon, at which time funeral services will be held. Claudia Little, a friend of the family will officiate.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
