Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather
Ronald Paul Kelley, 80, of Cuba, New York passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 with family by his side.

Born on September 5, 1941, in Olean, he was son of Ronald W. and Bertha Mae Sunderlin Kelley. He was subsequently raised by his grandmother, Viola Amber Sunderlin. On April 4, 1967 in Pennsylvania, he married his wife Velma who survives.

Ron was a carpenter by trade all of his life. He began his working career in the Laborers Union working for RJ Cradduck for 15 years. He then joined the Local 66 Carpenter’s Union out of Olean, New York, which led him to work for LC Whitford Company out of Wellsville from which he retired.

Farming was his main passion, but also enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, producing maple syrup, and raising honey bees. He also loved woodworking and making “whirligigs” for friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Kelley and children Frank (Tammie) Kelley, Ronald (Dawn) Kelley, Dawn (Darrin) Kelley-Cowher, Jerry (Nikki Briggs) Kelley, Mark (Karla) Kelley, Brian Willetts, and Cindy Wickstrom; his grandchildren Alycia (Geoffrey) Frost, Ashton Kelley, Darrin (Tyler) Cowher, Lindsay (Matthew) Wellwood, Kelley Kubasti, Kayla Kelley, Audrie (Tony) Everett’s, Kristin Kelley, Brook Kelley, Noah (Jaelyn Bennett) Kelley, Logan Kelley and Mark Kelley JR, Cristal Willetts, Jeremy Willetts Jessica Willetts, Brian C. Willetts, Megan Willetts, Ronald Willetts JR, Ashley Willetts and 15 great grandchildren. Brother Wilson Morales, Sisters Mary Cross and Val Morales.

He was predeceased by brothers Matthew J. Kelley and Timmy Kirby, a son Ronald Willetts; Granddaughter Melissa Kelley and a Grandson Christian Cowher.

At his request services will be private.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
