Ricky L. Burdick

Ricky L. Burdick, 62, of 6698 Crabb Hollow Rd., Black Creek, crossed over the rainbow bridge to meet up with Beatrice, Dixie, Rodie, and Scruffy on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Born on December 29, 1958, in Olean, he was a son of Edmund and Shirley Hill Burdick. On August 20, 2006 he married the former Pamela Bryington Elliott who survives.

Ricky was a graduate of Portville Central School. He served in the United States Navy from 1980-1983.

In his younger years he had worked for his parent’s business Burdick Trailer Sales in Weston’s Mills and later worked for Bush Industries, Dickson Trucking in Bath, Cutco, and had been a bus driver for handicapped children for several years. Last he was a self-employed Truck Driver owning and operating US Transport.

He was a member of the Portville Masonic Lodge #579 F&AM and enjoyed four wheeling, hunting, spending time with his family and grandchildren, watching birds with his favorite being humming birds, and campfires with his “chimney logs.”

In addition to his wife Pamela Elliott of Black Creek he is survived by his children, Angela (Ross) McPhee of Coatesville, PA, Daniel (Brandi) Johnston of Portville, Michael (Bridget) Elliott of Black Creek and Jacqueline (Ricky) White of Belfast; his grandchildren Choley, Codi, Aryanna, Aaron “Bubba”, Nahvonna, Jon, Jase, Carter, Emily, Madeline, and Allison; two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Devlin Miller; two sisters, Valerie (Gary) Rhinehart of Eldred and Sandra (David) Greenslade of Florida; a brother-in-law, Clifford Bryington of Bradford; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs Millie and Spud.

There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
