Peggy S. Tredway
Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend
Peggy S. Tredway, 53, of Orchard Park, and formerly of Cuba, New York, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, in Cuba Memorial Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on June 13, 1961, in Cuba, New York, she was a daughter of LaVerna Briggs Stohr.

Peggy was a graduate of Cuba High School Class of 1979. She went on to receive her Associate’s of Science and Business degree from Empire State College in 1993. She then graduated in 2013 Magna Cum Laude from Columbia Southern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety.

She worked for over 20 years in the Occupational Health and Safety field for Henkel Corporation of Olean and most recently for Hazard Evaluations Inc., of Orchard Park where she was worked as Safety Specialist.

Peggy enjoyed reading, crafts, and playing board games at family functions.

Surviving are a daughter, Laura Elizabeth Tredway of Cuba; two brothers, Darren Stohr of Schenectady, and Brian (Jennifer Coniglio) Stohr of Sykesville, MD; a sister, Marina (Henry Jr.) Heppner of Orchard Park; her nephews, Anthony Stohr, Cedric Stohr, Robert Tredway, and Max Heppner; her niece, Emma Heppner; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and grand animals.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Maurice and Onnolee Briggs.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held later this winter at a date and time to be announced.
