Mrs. Milgate lived in the area most of her life. She was employed as an inspector for Acme Electric Corp. of Cuba for 33 years prior to her retirement.
Pearl was a charter member of the Shawn M. Clemens Memorial Am Vets Post 1 of Cuba where she was instrumental in helping to bring about the Am Vets and its women's Auxiliary organizations. She was a member and past president of the Cuba American Legion Post 655 Auxiliary as well as a member and past president of the Cuba VFW Post 2721 Auxiliary.
In her retirement, Pearl enjoyed their campground on the Carpenter Road, her dogs and her cat. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always gleaming with a welcoming smile.
Surviving are her longtime loving companion with whom she made her home, Michael D. Kramer of Black Creek; five sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Cox of Lackawanna,
Edith "Edy" Herrick of Cuba, Emma (Donald) Pangburn of Richburg, Nancy (Dale) Carlson of Lyndon, and Mary (Robert) Bixby of Richburg;
many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two nephews, Jeff Pangburn and Anthony Truax.
At Mrs. Milgates request there will be no visitation of services at this time. A Memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
Memorials if desired may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
