She was born November 13, 1959 in Olean, NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie Corthell Luzier. In May of 1997, in Black Creek, she married David L. Hunt who survives.

She was a graduate of Cuba Central Schools Class of 1977.

Though she had many jobs during her life, she most recently was employed at the St Elizabeth Mother House in Allegany. This place held a special place in her heart and she adored working and caring for the sisters who lived there. She always took pride in her work and in everything she did.

   She loved to bake for her friends and family, especially at Christmas when she would make her "famous" sugar cookies. She also adored spending time with her great-grandchildren; they knew her as "Grandma Honey" and they just lit up every time they saw her.

Patti is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Gadd of Cuba, and Mikala (Peter) Schultz of Olean; her husband David of Friendship; two step daughters Holly (Bryce) Weitzel of Portville and Tracy (Keith) Kretchman of Oak Harbor, Washington; three grandchildren, Morgan Gadd of Friendship and Robert (RJ) Gadd of Cuba and Hannah Wilber of Olean; two great-grandchildren Giannina (Gia) and Giovonnie (Vinny) Holly of Friendship, as well as her nieces and nephew, and her kitty companions, Logan and Molly.

  She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Marjorie Luzier, and her siblings, Roberta (Bobbi) Luzier and Loren Luzier.

  Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 6-8 P.M. and again on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 10-11:00 A.M. at which time a Memorial Service will be held. Pastor Claudia Little, will officiate.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the St Elizabeth Mother House in Allegany or Empire Animal Rescue Society (EARS).
