Mary L. Seifert of Belfast, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2023.
Born July 31, 1948, in Buffalo, she was a daughter of the late John and Eileen Hogenmiller. She is survived by her beloved Husband, Martin Seifert.
Mary graduated from Frontier Central High School in Hamburg, New York.
She was employed by West Seneca Developmental Center for 30 years working with special needs adults.
Her love for Jesus was evident to all. She and her husband, Marty opened their home for ministry and hospitality for many years. Mary’s joy shined brightly to everyone she met. Her hobbies were gardening, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Marty, are her sister, Linda Cottone; her brothers, John (Lisa) Hogenmiller and Michael (Missy) Hogenmiller; four children, Joseph (Bonny) Brotka, Patrick (Erin) Brotka, Matthew (Marti) Brotka and Donna (Jeff) Brown;
11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
