Mary J. Lozell, 72, of 560 Main Street, Limestone passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2016 at Cuba Memorial Hospital's Primary Care Unit after a short illness.
Born on January 13, 1944, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Albert and Dorothy Shanley Pierce. She had been married to Donald Lozell who predecased her.

| Mary was a graduate of Friendship Central School. She had been employed for eight years by Acme Electric Corp of Cuba and was last employed by Stauffer's Cookies of Cuba retiring several years ago.
She enjoyed Buffalo Bills Football and bingo.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Louise Wolfe of Iowa; two grandchildren, Michael Prial and Darby Prial; three brothers, Albert Pierce of Friendship, Ronald Pierce of Olean, and James Pierce of Warren, PA; three sisters, Gloria Homuth of Cuba, Alberta Pierce of Farminton Hills, MI, and Doris Schoonover of Wellsville;
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a still born daughter Mary Jane Eymer; three brothers, Robert Pierce, John Pierce, and Edwin Pierce; and three sisters Nellie Graves, Lora Williams, Linda Ishman.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Friendship, NY.
Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.
