Maryann Krygier
Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister
Maryann Krygier, formerly Erin Isle Apartments 3 Bristol Street, Cuba and most recently the Pines of Machias passed away Friday April, 2021 at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born on February 6, 1938, in Buffalo, she was a daughter of Walter and Jane Bilicka Wiertel. On February 15, 1958, in Buffalo she married Eugene Krygier who preceded her in death.

Maryann had worked for Bison Canning, Flex Fit USA, in a nursing home in the laundry department for many years, and last was a cookie packer for Farnsworth Cookies of Cuba.

She enjoyed puzzles, ceramics, cleaning, bowling, and dancing. She loved spending time with her family, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She attended the Bellville Wesleyan Church.

Family left to cherish her memory includes six children, Michelle (Garry) Welshans of Angola, Valerie Calderon of Cuba, Annette (Michael) Emhof of Angola, Bonnie (Paul Perry) Krygier of Buffalo, Eugene (Genny) Krygier, Jr. of Cuba and Wayne (Jolynn) Krygier of Cuba; 15 grandchildren and 26 great grand children; two brothers, Walter (Barbara) Wiertel and Joey (Joanne) Wiertel both of Amherst; two sisters, Joani (Edward) Liszewski and Nancy Wiertel both of Amherst; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Friday, April 9, 2021 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at which time a Memorial Service will be held. Pastor Robert Grimes of Bellville Wesleyan Church, will officiate.
