Marvin Eugene Grimes Beloved Father and Grandfather

Marvin Eugene Grimes, 86, formerly of 6189 Rte. 305, Black Creek, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Wellsville Manor Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on August 25, 1930 a son of Dana and Elva Studley Grimes. He had been married to the former Rosatta Barbara Lockett who predeceased him. In May of 2008 he married Marie V. Grimes who also predeceased him.

Marvin was very proud of his military service serving in the United States Army from 1951-1956.
He had been employed as a relief worker for Friendship Dairies prior to his retirement. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed dogs and cats.
Surviving are his children Leornard M. "Lenny" (Patricia) Grimes of Black Creek and Linda C. (Anthony, Jr.) Bunk of Cuba; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; a sister, June Young of Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was predeceased by two brothers, Irvin and Alvin Grimes; and two sisters, Violet Johnston and Hazel Mary Roulo.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10-11 A.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Jonathan D. Ward, pastor of North Park Wesleyan Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Richburg Cemetery, Richburg, New York.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the SPCA Serving Allegany County, PO Box 381, Wellsville, NY. 14895.
