Mark Kerling

Mark Kerling, 60, of 7143 Mt. Monroe Rd., Cuba, passed away November 3, 2021 unexpectedly while vacationing with family in Florida.

Born on November 8, 1960, he was a son of Ronald and Lillian Sheets Kerling. On November 24, 1978, in Buffalo, her married the former Norma Rowitsch who survives.

Mark had several professions during his working career that included working on Oil and Gas leases in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, food broker for Food Banks on a National level, and a successful businessman for many years prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Rushford Lake Conservation Club, the Rushford Snowmobile Club, and the Cuba VFW Post 2721. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his passion was golf. He enjoyed traveling but was happiest spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was loved by many nephews, nieces and dear friends.

In addition to his wife Norma, he is survived by 2 sons, Joshua (Brandi) Kerling and Jeremy (Christie) Kerling both of Oswego, New York; a daughter, Lindsay (Curt) Garland of Frewsburg, New York; 6 grandchildren, Jackson, Chava, Alex, Kayne, Brielle, and Julianna; and 3 sisters, Donna (James) Gabrielli of Florida, Rebecca Mego of Buffalo and Catherine (Duke) Flint of Virginia.

He was predeceased by his parents and a granddaughter Angel.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1-3 P.M. at which time a brief prayer service will he held.
