Louis (Lou) H. McLouth Jr.

Louis (Lou) H. McLouth Jr. of 5377 S. Stoneridge Drive in Inverness, FL (formerly of 642 Prospect Avenue in Olean, NY), went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1 2021 in Advent Health in Ocala Florida due to heart/lung complications from the CCPV (Chinese Communist Party Virus) or COVID-19.

  Lou was born on April 6, 1942 to Louis and Mildred Edwards McLouth in Macedon, New York.  He attended a one room schoolhouse through 5th grade and was graduated from Marion Highschool in 1959. Later, he was graduated from North Star Bible Institute and Anderson College.

He married his high school sweetheart, Carol Magin, on January 28, 1960, who predeceased him on April 30, 1988.  In 1998, he married Kathleen Osborne who also predeceased him May 1, 2010. In 2014, he married Eunice Shreckengost Mooradian who survives him.

While serving as deacon, assistant pastor and pastor in 9 different Baptist Churches in Williamson, NY, Sodus, NY, Newark, NY, Alton, NY, Jamesburg, NJ, Rochester, NY, Folsomdale, NY and Henderson, N V, Lou often found secular employment in order to support his family.  These included among many others, a Technician for Xerox, Owned a Bible Bookstore, Mechanic, Truck Driver, Newspaper Courier, Technician at Dynalec, Quality Controller, Bus Driver and Chocolate taster at Ethel M.  He was quite proud of being a volunteer fireman at Walworth Fire Department and Sheldon Fire Department in NY.

Lou will best be remembered by his love for his family, his love for rural America and old tractors, classic cars, farms, guns (nicknamed Hawkeye), steak, through his involvement with volunteer fire departments, Eunice and her family, and the King James Bible, of which he was a staunch defender as the only Word of God. He also loved the history of the Civil War and World War II.

Lou is survived by his mother, Mildred of Newark, four sons, Kevin (Patty)  of Newark, NY, Richard (Debbie) of Columbia, TN, Christopher (Lisa) of Limerick, NY, Ben (Wendy) of Culleoka, TN and a daughter, Stephanie Esten of Rochester, N Y., 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 9 step children, 14 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

3 brothers, Gary (Cheryl) of Marion, NY, Jay (Sheila) of Hartville, OH and Scott (Noreen) of Savannah, NY as well as dear and precious former in-laws and nieces and nephews including Robert (Marilyn) Magin who was most influential in leading Lou to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home, 9 Bull Street, Cuba, New York on Friday, February 5 from 4-7 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 A.M. The Service will be led Bruce Ireland, Lou’s beloved pastor of Country Chapel Baptist Church in Eldred, PA.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family on Monday, February 8 in Warrensville, PA where Lou will be laid to rest next to the mother of his children.
