Llewellyn P. “Lou” Bump
Son, Father, Grandfather
Llewellyn P. "Lou' Bump, 63, of 3604 Haskell Rd., Cuba, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born on Jan. 18, 1950, in Cuba, NY he was a son of Sidney L. and Janice Gene Gleason Bump.

He was a graduate of the former Cuba Central School Class of 1968. He was a member of the Cuba First Baptist Church.

Lou was an award winning photographer that loved nature and all it had to offer. Bird watching was one of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed teaching his son to hunt, fish, and always enjoyed watching him play t-ball and little league.

He had worked for the railroad for many years. In later years he was a rural route delivery man for the Buffalo News retiring in 2005.

He is survived by his mother, Gene Bump-Case of Cuba; the love of his life, Deborah L. Floyd of Cuba; a son, Brandon (Jamie) Bump of Greenwood; his step children Valerie Floyd of Dewitt, Michigan, Charlie Floyd of Fayetteville, NC, Stephanie Floyd of Fulton, NY, Kari Stoddard of Fayetteville, NC, Sheree Benson of Bladenboro, NC, and Jay Stoddard of Burlington, NC; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother, Terry Bump of Bremerton, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his father Sidney L. Bump and a grandson Jordan T. Stoddard.

Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Tuesday from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Robert Beard, will officiate.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, NY.
