Linda N. Heary, 72, of 8007 County Road 20, Friendship, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 09, 2015 at home.
Born on October 1, 1942, in Hornell, New York she was a daughter of Frank and Hazell Neild. On May 2, 1964, in Friendship, New York she married Donald F. Heary who predeceased her on March 29, 2009.

Linda was a graduate of Hornell High School Class of 1961. She co owned and operated Heary's Furniture in Friendship with her husband, which later became Heary's Apartments.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, quilting, gardening and wintering in Florida with her husband.
Surviving are two sons, Jim (Tricia) Heary of Friendship, and Jon F. (Stacey) Heary of Friendship; a daughter, Samantha (Shane) Nickerson of Mumford;
four grand children, Ethan Heary, and Hazel, Leigh, and Jerod Nickerson; a brother, Ernest (Donna) Neild of Florida; a sister, Elizabeth Rose of California; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by two sisters Nancy McDermott and Sue McCarthy.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at which time private graveside services will be held.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Friendship, New York.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to the Cuba Circulating Library, 39 East Main Street, Cuba, NY 14727.
