Linda J. Beaver, 66, of 3894 Haskell Rd, West Clarksville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 20, 1947, in Salamanca, she was a daughter of the late Darwin and Thelma Wilson Schneider. On June 18, 1983, in West Clarksville, she married Donald A. Beaver who survives.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Cuba Central School. She worked at Cuba Cheese from 1979-1985. In 1985, she started B&B Lab with Joan Bunk. She eventually sold the business to Life Science Labs out of Syracuse, and continued to work for them as Lab Director until she was forced to retire due to illness.

She is a member for the First Baptist Church of Cuba, a member of McKee Chapter #212 Order of the Eastern Star, where she became a district deputy twice, Worthy Matron Seven Times and Grand Representative twice. She was also a member of the Cuba VFW Auxiliary, past president of the Cuba American Legion Post 655 Auxiliary.

Surviving in addition to her husband Donald of 30 years are a daughter, Amy (Tim) Mattison of Cuba; two sons, Michael (Edana Briggs) Pfouts of South Carolina, and Dennis Rasmusson of Georgia; a stepson, Jeff (Lisa) Beaver; three stepdaughters, Mindy Reeves of FL, Shelly Bunnell of FL, and Amy Wesleman of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Trek Roulo, Chelsey Freeman, Alan Freeman, Emily Rasmusson, Kyle Rasmusson, Max Rasmusson, Camden Pfouts, and Connor Pfouts; her step granchildren, Brianna Baker, Hunter Beaver, Colton Beaver, Megan Mattison, and Summer Mattison; two sisters, Kathleen (Ronald) Booth of Cuba Lake, and Debra (Rich) Eddy of Rochester; a brother, James (Mary) Wilson of Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 1-3 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Leslie E. Chambers, pastor of the West Clarksville Baptist Church will officiate.

Members of McKee Chapter #212 will conduct Memorial Services in the funeral home at 3 PM.
