Leslie C. Tanyi, 44, of 8932 County Road 20, Cuba, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Olean General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Born on July 6, 1974 she was a daughter of Lester Smith Sr. the former Audrey Clark.

| Leslie had worked for as a Laborer for TPI in Arcade for several years and most recently was a laborer for YSK Corporation in Chillicothe, Ohio until she was no longer able to work due to her illness.
She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her sons and providing for them.
In addition to her parents she is survived by a stepmother, Victoria Ingraham of Cuba; two sons, Dylan Tanyi and Mason Tanyi both at home; two brothers, Lester Smith, Jr. of New Iberia, LA and David Smith of Wisconsin;
two sisters, Trudy Smith and Lisa Smith both of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may attend a Memorial Visitation at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 10 A.M. until Noon.
