Beloved Father, Grandfather

Lavern R. Hadaway, 72, of 9552 Cream Ridge Rd, Rushford, passed away at Olean General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born on March 7, 1943, in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of Lavern F. and Julianna Zdanowski Hadaway.

| He was a graduate of Father Baker School in Buffalo and then graduated from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service with a degree in mortuary science.
From 1985-1998 he owned and operated the Cline-Hadaway Funeral Home in Rushford. He then went to work driving bus for Coach USA in Olean, retiring in 2003.
He enjoyed cooking, model trains, and enjoyed his dogs throughout his life.
Surviving are two sons, Lavern (Amy) Hadaway of Rushford, and Jeremy (Tennille) Hadaway of Angelica; four grandchildren; a sister, Jacqueline (Michael Glasen) Seiders of Williamsville;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at which time a memorial service will be held. The Rev. Stephen Crowell will officiate.
