Laura A. Greek, 71, of 6292 Hyde Flats Rd, Black Creek, passed away Monday, June 09, 2014 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on May 5, 1943, in Olean, NY she was a daughter of Milton and Laura Phearsdorf Karst. On April 28, 1962 she married Fred H. Greek who predeceased her on December 26, 2005.

Laura was a long time employee of Motorola and held various positions but retired as a supervisor from the Elma plant. She also held Friendly Home Parties in the area.
She took computer classes at BOCES and enjoyed crossword puzzles, flowers, gardening, and watching hummingbirds. Most of all she enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her mother, Laura Karst of Oneida; a son, Kevin Greek of Black Creek; two daughters, Dina (David) Donaldson of Huntington, Texas, and Trina (Charles) Black of Fletcher, Oklahoma;
twelve grandchildren, one great grandson, two brothers, Thomas (Linda) Karst of Ruther Glenn, Virginia, and Terry (Rebecca) Karst of Oneida, NY;
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and father, she was predeceased by a brother Daniel Karst.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Leslie E. Chambers, pastor of the West Clarksville Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Black Creek Cemetery, Town of New Hudson, New York.
