Kay E. Baker Beloved Mother, Grandmother

Kay E. Baker, 73, of 97 East Main Street, Cuba, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at home.
Born on Feb. 2, 1942, in Wellsville, New York, she was a daughter of Wayne and Virginia Bassett Carpenter.
Kay was a graduate of Belmont High School.

She was a former member of the Belmont Baptist Church.
Kay had been employed by AL Blades Construction of Hornell where she helped in the construction of Interstate 86.
She enjoyed NASCAR racing and her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Baker, and Curtis Baker both of Friendship; one daughter, Laurie (Jeffrey) Taylor of Friendship; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Snyder of Friendship; and several nieces and nephews.
In honoring Kay's wishes private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.
