Julia M. Hannon

Julia M. Hannon, 74, of 19 South Street, Cuba, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Born on October 19, 1946, in Abilene, Texas, she was a daughter of James and Irene Richard Smith. On February 11, 1981, in Rockwall Texas she married Mark S. Hannon who survives.

Julia was a very kind hearted, caring woman. She was a lifelong resident of Rockwall until moving to Cuba in 2008. Julia spent the majority of her working life as an accountant in the Dallas area.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and shopping. Julia loved her two dogs and her cats, spending a lot of her time loving and caring for them. She enjoyed baking and always had a sweet tooth. She will be forever loved and missed by many.

Surviving in addition to her husband Mark are a daughter, Patti (Mike) Searle of Cuba; grandchildren, Amber Hannon and Joseph Romo; a brother, James Robert Smith of Tyler, TX; and everal nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Nancy Grant and Jennie Beth Hoilman.

A celebration of Julia’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
