Judith A. Schneider, 70, of 9 South Street, Friendship, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at home surrounded by her family after complications of renal failure.
Born on August 17, 1939, in Olean, New York she was a daughter of Willard and Virginia Mallory Moser. On June 2, 1962, in the First Baptist Church of Friendship she married her husband Carl E. Schneider who survives.

Mrs. Schneider was a graduate of Richburg Central School Class of 1957 and later graduated from Rochester Business Institute with a medical secretarial degree.
While her husband was in the military she worked for Eastman Kodak of Rochester in the research labs. In 1962, she and her husband returned to live and raise their family in Friendship, New York.
She began working for First Trust Union Bank as a teller, which later became Fleet Bank. She retired as an Operations Manager for Fleet Bank's Wellsville location in 1992 after 27 years of service.
She was a member of the Red Hats Society, and a former member of the Duncan Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Friendship Free Library Board.
She enjoyed traveling the lower 48 States with her husband, dining with friends, playing cards, and camping. She also enjoyed the time she had with her grandsons, watching tennis and football.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Terri Schneider of Syracuse, and Tracey (Phillip) Mitchell of Randolph;
two grandsons, Austin and Alex Mitchell; a sister, Phyllis (Robert) Covel of Canisteo; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Donald Moser.
Friends may call at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Kirk Kirch, pastor of the United Church of Friendship, will officiate.
