Born on September 2, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Ralph A. and Rosanne Schwedt Clifford. On July 2, 1949 in East Aurora, she married Wilfred L. “Bill” Reigle who predeceased her on February 1, 2012.

Joan was a graduate of Lancaster High School.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her family, cooking, baking, flowers, and gardening. Being a mother was one of her greatest accomplishments and being able to spend time with her grandchildren was even better.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda R. (Joel) Tucker of Rushford; 2 grandchildren, Patricia (Robert) Brown and Joel (Carolee) Tucker II; 5 great grandchildren, Krista (Mike) Simpson, Bradley Brown, Brendon (Tiffany) Brown, Austin Hare, and Zachary (Maddie) Tucker; a great great granddaughter, Olivia Rose Brown; a great great grandson Wyatt Hare; and many nieces and nephews including two special nephews Terry Reigle and Randy (Cathy) Reigle.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother Donald Clifford who passed shortly after birth.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in White Cemetery, Rte. 243 Rushford, New York. The Rev. Ben Phillips will officiate.
