James E. "Big Jim" Kellogg, Sr.
Loving Father, Grandfather, Friend
James E. "Big Jim" Kellogg, Sr., 80, of 1044 Abbotts Rd., Lyndon, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born on November 9, 1933, in Lyndon, he was a son of Growson and Marion Searle Kellogg. On February 7, 1953, in Olean, he married the former Patricia Disorbo who predeceased him on April 23, 2008.

Mr. Kellogg had been a tile carrier for Olean Tile Co., for 43 years retiring in 1997. He also did backhoe and bulldozer work around the area.

He enjoyed repairing cars, loved cutting wood, and his John Deere Tractor. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching cartoons with his grandson Dustin.

Surviving are a son, James E. Kellogg, Jr. of Lyndon; three daughters, Pam (George) Schneider of Lyndon, Nancy (Kenneth) Gunsolus of Tipton, Missouri, and Jennifer Kellogg of Lyndon; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a brother, Millard J. Kellogg of Hinsdale; two Sisters, Virginia Clayson of Cuba, and Arwilda (Earl) Williams of Allegany; a brother-in-Law, Joseph Augustyn of Allegany; a sister-in-Law, Mary Riehle of Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by a granddaughter Stephanie Gunsolus and a brother Warren Kellogg.

Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Friday February 21, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10-11 A.M. at which time funeral services will be held. Terry Bush, Chaplain of the Lyndon Volunteer Fire Co., will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville.

Memorials if desired may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
