Howard W. Fields, 83, of 7803 Crawford Creek Rd., Caneadea, passed away Wednesday, May 09, 2018 at Cuba Memorial Hospital's Palliative Care Unit after an illness.
Born on August 8, 1934, in Angelica, he was a son of Daniel Smith Paul and Harriet Ethel Histed Fields. On March 29, 1958 in the Cuba First Baptist Church he married the former Delores J. Cooper who survives.

| Howard was a graduate of Belfast Central School Class of 1952. He had been employed as a truck driver for Allegany County Department of Public Works prior to his retirement.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and tinkering in his shed.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda (Danny) King of Zephyrhills, FL; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Julia Washburn of Caneadea; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son Michael J. Fields on February 4, 2013; a daughter Debra Mahon on February 28, 2017; two brothers Harold Fields and Paul Fields; and a sister Harriet Ethel Briggs.
In accordance with Howard's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.
