Geri Perrigo
Loving Wife and Friend
Gerilynn Perrigo, 58, of Cuba, passed away on Good Friday (April 15, 2022) in Buffalo after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Doylestown, Pa., on June 20, 1963, Geri dedicated her life to caring for others. She is widely known in the area for her service and hospitality skills and her ability to make everyone around her feel special and taken care of.

She began her trade at 16 at the Castle Restaurant and also spent years at the Century Manor and Moonwinks Restaurant and Lounge. She was a favorite for customers of small parties and large groups alike, as she could connect to every person she met and truly loved being of service.

Geri also worked with her friend and sister-in-law Karen M. Perrigo, Attorney at Law/CPA and Veterinary Care of Cuba, serving as the first face seen by each customer, greeting everyone with care and a smile.

She had boundless empathy and was always the first person to jump in to help others. She was a longtime volunteer of Meals on Wheels and was a supporter of animal welfare causes. Geri also served as a caretaker for many, including her mother, father, mother-in-law, and father-in-law, showcasing her compassion and dedication to those she loved.

Geri is survived by her husband of more than 26 years, Todd Perrigo, stepchildren Tim (Natalie) Perrigo and Maggie (Ryan) Kasperski, four grandchildren, extended family, and countless close friends, all of whom will miss her tremendous heart and incredible spirit.

The family is planning a celebration of Geri’s life to take place this summer.
