Born on September 16, 1982, in Olean, he was a son of Edward Brown and Laurie A. Rought Kelley.

George attended Cuba-Rushford School. He had worked as a farmhand for various farms, Davis Auto in Cuba, was a self-employed mechanic, and was currently working for A-1 Rental in Olean.

He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his children.

George is survived by his mother, Laurie L. (Fiancé James Berry) Kelley of Cuba; his children, Thomas Brown and Lillyann Brown both of Friendship; 4 brothers, Josh (Natasha) Brown of Cuba, Jason (fiancé Amanda Layman) Rought of Cuba, Edward Brown and Scott Brown both of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Sherry Brown of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandfather, George E. Rought of Clarksville; his longtime companion, Sybil Davis of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father Edward Brown, he was predeceased by his maternal grandmother June A. Rought.

At this time, the family will hold private services.
