Gary L. Schasre
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend
Gary L. Schasre, 73, of 63 South Street, Bolivar, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 in Olean General Hospital after and illness.

Born on July 24, 1941, in Buffalo, New York he was a son of Harold and Helen Krause Schasre. On June 22, 1963, in West Seneca, New York he married the former Penelope S. Corbett who survives.

Mr. Schasre was a graduate of Orchard Park High School Class of 1959. He also studied bible courses at Liberty University and Immanuel Bible Institute.

He was employed by Dwelle Kaiser Company as an on the road salesman, Raub Supply as a electrical supply salesman, Harris Supply in Wellsville, the Olean General Hospital Maintenance Department and at last owned and operated Supreme Renovations doing various types of home improvements. He also was a bus driver for Bolivar-Richburg Central Scholl for 12 plus years retiring in 2011.

Gary loved serving the Lord. He was a missionary speaker with the Giedons, a volunteer with Gils Hills Ministries in Wellsville where he served on the advisory Board and did volunteer maintenance, and was a volunteer host family for the Fresh Air Fund program.

He was a member of the West Clarksville Baptist Church serving in various capacities. He also enjoyed being active in all the churches he belonged to. Many years ago he was a Boy Scout Leader.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jacqueline (Kevin Dent) Schasre of Bolivar, and Jill (Michael) Jones of Abilene, TX; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Derek, Brandon, and Analeigh all of Abilene, TX; a sister, Gail Giambra of Grand Island, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Friends will be received at the West Clarksville Baptist Church, 9003 Dagget Hollow Rd, Bolivar, NY on Saturday from 11-12 P.M. only at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. David Herne, pastor of Heritage Aflame Ministries will officiate.
