Gary D. Beardsley, 61, of 1960 Mission Rd, York, SC 29745, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 20, 2014 at home.
Born on July 21, 1952 in Springville, NY he was a son of Leo and Gertrude Eckert Beardsley. He had been married to his wife Linda for forty years.

Gary's greatest joy was spending time with his family and considered his grandchildren real treasures.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Cary Muir, Niki (Jill) Beardsley, and Chis (Amy) Beardsley all of York, SC;
his grandchildren Colby, Zack, Kaitlyn, Zayne, Rose, Bailey, Dawson, Cooper, Brandi; and two sisters Norma (John) Leib of New Mexico, and Sandy (Mark) Gould of Washington State.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Lois Alfe and Linda Beardsley; and a brother Roger Beardsley.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
