Born on March 3, 1923, in Cattaraugus, New York she was a daughter of Earle and Nellie Ruper Miller. On August 24, 1946 in Waban, Massachusetts she married Edward R. Berry, Jr and together they enjoyed 65 years of marriage until his passing on October 28, 2011.

Eunice was a graduate of Cattaraugus High School Class of 1941. For a short period of time after graduating she worked for Curtis Wright. She then enlisted in the United States Navy on April 3, 1944 until being honorably discharged on August 13, 1946. It during this time that she met her husband who was a member of the Untied States Army. She received the Victory Ribbon and the American Campaign Ribbon.

In 1946, she moved to Massachusetts and began working in the Insurance Industry and was one of the first ladies authorized to sell insurance in the state. In 1975, she went to work for Calverts Inc., in Needham Mass. as an accounts payable manager retiring in 1988. In retirement she and her husband returned to Cuba to be closer to family.

She always had dogs and cats that she enjoyed raising, loved to vacation with friends and family, enjoyed knitting Afghans for new born babies, and was an excellent cook and baker.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Costa of North Providence, RI; two granddaughters, Nicolette Chalifoux of Pawtucket, RI and Miracle Costa of North Providence, RI; a sister, Joyce Harvey of Cuba; her beloved cat, Casey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by 3 brothers Albert, Clayton, and Sidney.

A Celebration of Life Service for Eunice and her beloved Rich will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at North Park Wesleyan Church, 13 N. Park St., Cuba at 10:00 A.M. The Rev. Jonathan D. Ward will officiate.
