Mr. Winicki was a graduate of the former Cuba Central School Class of 1986 and the Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Science where he received a degree in Culinary Arts.
After graduation Eric moved to North Carolina and Flordia and worked as a chef in several restaurants but eventually returned to the Cuba area where he was employed by Ponderosa in Olean. He later became the owner of Cruiser's Café in Cuba. After selling the business he went to work for the Seneca Allegany Casino as a dealer for a period of time and then became a Floor Manager until he became ill.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and children which each and affectionately nicknamed "Breezy", "Bridgie", "Boo" and "Maemae."
