Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister
Doris E. Hall, 79, of 14 Woodruff Street, Cuba passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Olean General Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on November 30, 1936, in Belmont, New York she was a daughter of John and Frances V. Ellis Robinson. On September 10, 1955, in Cuba she married her husband of 61years Richard C. Hall who predeceased her on October 24, 2016.

Doris was a graduate of Cuba Central School Class of 1954. After high school she worked at Acme Electric in the offices until the birth of her children. She had also at one time worked part time in the School Cafeteria, Cuba Market Basket, and then at night cleaned the library. In 1972, she and her husband purchased the Western Auto Hardware from Dick Burt and it became Halls Ace Hardware until their retirement in 1998.

Being active in town government she was Town Clerk , Tax Collector in the 1980's after Charlie Arzberger, School Tax Collector for many years at different times, and also collected town and county taxes at different times in her tenure.

Doris enjoyed Toll painting, gardening, puzzles, tending her flowerbeds, cooking, canning, racing go carts and was a huge Cleveland Indians Fan. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are a son, Rick (Annette) Hall of Cuba; a daughter, Susan (Thomas) Campbell of Cuba; four grandchildren, Michael (Teresa) Campbell, Steven (Christina) Campbell, Casey (Josh) Fieno, and CJ (Richele Priset) Hall; twelve great grandchildren; a brother, James (Paula) Robinson of Cuba; two nieces, Renee (Kris) Vurraro and Cheryl (Kevin) Donovan both of Bergen; three great nieces and one great nephew.

She was predeceased by her husband and parents.

Friends will be received by the family at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 10-11:00 A.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Jonathan D. Ward, pastor of North Park Wesleyan Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.

In lieu of flowers Memorial's may be made to the Veteran's Living Memorial Project, c/o Cuba Chamber of Commerce, 5 West Main Street, Cuba, New York 14727.
