Donna M. Weatherly, 71, of 120 Abbotts Road, Lyndon, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on July 31, 1952, in Buffalo, she was a daughter of Frederick and Loretta M. Lederhouse Witt, Sr. On July 5, 1975, in Scio, she married Burton J. Weatherly who survives.
Donna worked as a one-on-one Aide in multiple schools, had been a clerk at the Uni-Mart in Cuba and last was a personal care aide for the Rehabilitation Center in Olean.
She loved watching birds, collecting snow globes, and taking care of her grandchildren which were her pride and joy.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Todd Witt and Burton J. Weatherly, II both of Cuba; 2 daughters, Cathy Jo Weatherly and Laura Elizabeth Weatherly both of Cuba; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Charles (Jean) Witt of Cuba, Jeffrey Witt of Cuba and Frederick (Amanda) Witt of Great Valley;
a sister, Catherine (John) Cross of Friendship; and a son-in-law, Lee McDaniels of Cuba.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Matthew Witt.
Graveside Services will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship at the convenience and the family.
