Dennis D. Peterson, 62, of 9180 Spring Street, Cuba, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at home after a lengthy illness.
Born on March 11, 1957, in Springville, he was a son of Dale Peterson and Pearl Pilger. On October 31, 1998, he married the former Diana Bunk who survives.

Dennis had worked at Cuba Cemetery for several years and later became Co-owner of the St. James Hotel in Cuba.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 655 Cuba. He loved bullhead fishing, cookouts, the Boston Red Sox, NASCAR, the Outlaws truck racing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two brothers, Douglas (Pat) Peterson of Cuba and Paul Pilger of Salamanca; two sisters, Denise Pilger of Cuba and Marsha (Al Rudis) Swift of Friendship; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.
