Born on November 23, 1957, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Arvis C. and Betty Giles Burrows. On September 11, 1976 in Wellsville, she married Steven Mitchell who survives.

Connie was a graduate of Cuba Central Schools Class of 1975. She was a stay at home mother while her children were young and then went to work as a hostess at McDonald’s in Cuba. Last she was employed by Stauffer’s Biscuit Company in Cuba retiring in 2014.

She enjoyed reading book on Amazon and her cats.

In addition to her husband Steven she leaves behind her mother, Betty Burrows of Cuba; a son, Jamie Mitchell of Cuba;a daughter, Amy (Carlo) Chiapetta of St. Catherines, Ontario Canada; her granddaughter, Guiliana Chiapetta also of St. Catherines; a brother, Dean (Mary) Burrows of Cuba; a sister, Carol (Brian) Dutton of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Arvis C. Burrows.

Friends may call at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 1-3 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Lynn Sullivan, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.
