Messages of Condolence
From: Margaret or Maggie as I always referred to her as, was my favorite adult when I was growing up. She married my brother to whom she was quite devoted. Her wit, knowledge of animals and nature were fascinating to me then and always. There a big hole in my heart now. May she be joined with my brother and no longer in pain.

From: For a "country girl," Margaret had some rather sophisticated tastes. She introduced me to a wide variety of things, from the art of Hieronymous Bosch, to circus sideshows, to the music of Leonard Cohen, and lots more. We had one of those friendships (in college days) where we could look at each other and know what the other was thinking without saying it in words. I never got a chance to visit her on her Friendship land, and I would worry about her out there in the harsh winters. Rest in peace, Margaret.
