I remember Don when I was a young boy and we were his neighbor.  He was quite a guy.  I also remember when he shot a big bear in Hanging Bog, and we all went down to the grocery store to look at it.  We lived on the Tarbell Farm next door from 1947 to 1951.  May he Rest in Peace.

Denise and Loren - we are sorry to hear of Donny's passing.  He was a great guy.  We always loved reading his sections in the cuba paper  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I would like to give my condolences to Mr. Totten's family and friends.  I received a Christmas card from Debbie that said that her father was at Cuba Hospital.  I stopped to see him a couple months ago when I was visiting another person there.  I could pick him out - he looked the same as I last saw him over 30 years ago!  We talked of days gone by - he remembered my family from Cuba and the Bogars in Bellville.  May he rest in peace.

Donnie, Kathy & Totten Family,
please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father.  No matter how long we are blessed with their presence, it is never long enough.  Treasure the memories; they will help heal your hearts.  And may I share with you how much I loved your dad's writings in the Patriot.  My suite mates at Brockport raided my mailbox every week just to read his column.  His 'view from the mountain' reminded us all of the beauty and simplicity of country life.  He was a treasure.
