Clinton C. “Casey” Case Loving Family Man

Clinton C. "Casey" Case, 76, of 8351 Hubbell Hill Rd, Town of Cuba, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 3, 2010 shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital.
Born Feb 3, 1934 in east Cuba on a morning that was 54 degree's below zero he was a son of Alton Case and Sarah L. Snyder. On May 23, 1953 he married June M. MacDonald who went to heaven in October of 2003. On July 8, 2006, in St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church he married Elaine Damon who survives.

In 1972 he became a self-employed excavating contractor and remained an excavating contractor until his death. Mr. Case also built houses in New York, Long Island, Kentucky, and Florida, and at one time was a past owner of Case Lumber Co.
Mr. Case was a past member of the Spring Valley Rod and Gun Club, a past member of the Cuba Rod and Gun Club, a past member of LICA the Land Improvement Contractor's of America, and a past member of the Moose Club of Ruskin Florida.
Surviving are four daughters, Bonnie L. Downs of Nevada, Julie Ann (William) Kratts of Kentucky, Susan (Alan) Ravenhall of New Suffolk, NY, and Joyce L. (William) Raimondi of Cuba;
six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; four stepson's, Darrel (Paula) Damon of Salem Wisconsin, DeMerle Robert (Gail) Damon of Barker, NY., David (Susan) Damon of Lake Forest, California, and Daniel (Deb) Damon of South Wales; ten step grandchildren;
two sisters, Lorraine Butts of West Clarksville, and Donna (Robert) Case-Clayson of Cuba Lake; a sister-in-law, Jean E. MacDonald Searl of Pavillion; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his first wife and parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, D Alton Case, Burton Case, and Russell Case, as well as two sisters Reah Gere and Arlouine Davis.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 10-11 A.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. William Sylor, pastor of the Genesis Bible Church and a nephew of Mr. Case's, will officiate.
Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
