Carol M. Vogel, 53, of 6340 Hyde Flats Rd, Black Creek, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at home after a lengthy illness.
Born on December 29, 1961, in Dansville, New York, she was a daughter of Walter and Elaine Christie Cobin. On September 20, 1981, in Dalton, she married Daren L. Vogel who survives.

| Carol had worked at Crown-Y Recycling of Cuba and later was employed for 15 years at Great Lakes Cheese of Cuba until becoming ill.
She enjoyed shopping, traveling, chinese auctions, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surving in addition to her husband of Black Creek are a son, Patrick (Sandra Long) Vogel of Black Creek; two daughters, Kimberly (David) Jenkins of Belfast, and
Melissa (Thomas) Crivelli of Olean; her grandchildren, Jeremiah,Tyler, Jazmine, Tristian, Tate, Khloe, and Willow;
four brothers, Bubby (Suzette) Cobin of Castile, Don (Penny) Cobin of Dalton, John (Lori) Cobin of Dalton, and Gordy (Heather) Cobin of Hunt; five sisters, Pat (Dean) Tittle of Crewe, VA, Wanda (Bob) Black of Maine,
Debbie (Clyde) Clancy of Hunt, Nancy Smith of Black Creek, and Jane (Alan) Lockwood of Belfast; a mother-in-law, Elsie Vogel of Belfast; five brothers-in-law, David Vogel, Sr. of Black Creek,
Donny (Sue) Vogel of Belfast, Danny (Jen) Vogel of Dalton, Dennis (Kim) Vogel of Mass., and Charlie McAhon of Wellsville;
a sister-in-law, Della (Dean) Warner of Angelica; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Rodney Cobin; two sisters, Linda Vogel and Eleanor "Pokie" Penner; her mother and father-in-law, Mary and Alva Vogel; and a sister-in-law Doris McAhon.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc. 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. The Rev. Larry A. Poelma will officiate.
